Offline Mode

Launch VALORANT in Offline Mode

Play VALORANT while your whole friends list sees you as offline. Valorant Scout launches the game in offline mode in one click — you queue, play and climb exactly as normal, you’re just invisible to your friends. No settings to dig through, no risky client edits.

What it actually is

“Offline mode” = appear offline to friends

VALORANT has no built-in “offline” button, so when people search how to launch VALORANT in offline mode what they really want is to play the game while showing up as offline in everyone else’s friends list. Valorant Scout does exactly that: it starts VALORANT with your chat presence set to offline, so you can play ranked, unrated or a custom while nobody sees you’re online.

Grind without the pings

No “hey can you 5-stack?” the second you log on. Queue solo, warm up in the range, or climb in peace.

Stay off the radar

An ex-duo, a toxic teammate, that one guy who always wants to spectate — none of them see you online.

Stream-sniper cover

Streaming or making content? Appearing offline makes it harder for viewers to track when and where you’re queuing.
How to do it

Three clicks, start to queue

Offline status has to be in place the moment the game launches, so Scout handles the launch for you rather than flipping a switch after you’re already online:

Close VALORANT & the Riot Client

Offline mode has to be set as the game launches, so start from fully closed — Scout does this for you if the client is already open.

Hit “Launch Offline”

Open Valorant Scout and click Launch VALORANT (Offline). Scout starts the Riot Client for you with an offline chat connection already in place.

Log in and play as normal

Sign in and load into VALORANT the way you always do. Everything works — you just show up as offline to everyone on your friends list.

That’s it. You’ll see the normal VALORANT login, you play normally, and everything on the live scoreboard still works — Scout only changes how you appear to other players, not what you can see or do.

Good to know

What changes, and what doesn’t

  • You appear offline to your friends the entire session — in the client and in-game.
  • You can still party up: invite people directly and they can still join you.
  • Your own experience is unchanged — full matchmaking, ranked, everything.
  • It runs on your own PC against your own client — no account login handed to anyone, no third-party server.

Is appearing offline safe?

Launching offline changes only your chat presence — the status your friends see. It does not touch the game files, read your account password, or modify how matches run. That said, any third-party tool that sits alongside the Riot Client is used at your own risk, and Valorant Scout is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games. See the safety & bans page for the honest version.
