VALORANT map callouts

BindCallouts

Bind is a two-site map with no middle lane. Two one-way teleporters take the place of a mid, letting teams move between A and B quickly, and each one is loud enough that using it gives the opposing team a sound cue. Most fights happen at the A and B entrances, so the callouts cluster around the Lamps, Bath, Hookah and Garden areas.

Not on the minimap

Bind community callouts

Names you'll hear in ranked and pro comms that the game itself doesn't print. They're usually props or corners inside a bigger area, so they let a call be more exact than the minimap allows.

  • A TruckA Site

    Also called Truck

The truck parked on A Site, the big piece of cover in the middle of the site.

  • B CubbyB Site

    Also called Under Hookah

The corner on B Site right under Hookah's window, a close hiding spot attackers check as they walk onto the site.

Area by area

Know every corner of Bind

A Site

11 callouts
  1. 01A Tower sits on high ground that only defenders can reach and watches the Bath and A Short from above, so flash or smoke A Lamps before walking under it.
  2. 02The A Bath holds an Ult Orb, so contest it when your team is ult-heavy and cover the longer route from A Short while you do.
  3. 03The A Teleporter is loud when someone uses it, so listen for it to learn when enemies are rotating, and use the sound as a fake when you need to pull attention away from the real push.

B Site

12 callouts
  1. 01B Garden and B Long are separated by a metal tube and B Long is often smoked, so only commit to the B Long push when you have information from the teleporter side.
  2. 02The B Window (Hookah) is the usual entry point, so place utility there to cover the B Short and B Garden approaches before you peek.
  3. 03The B Cubby sits right under the Hookah, so a defender holding it can be cleared with a flash or thrown utility from the window.

How many sites does Bind have?

Bind has 2 bomb sites (A Site and B Site).

Which Bind callouts are not shown in the game?

A Truck and B Cubby are community names. The game's own callout text doesn't use them, but players and pros say them all the time.

Where is A Bath on Bind?

A tiled bathroom on the A side that opens directly onto A Site.

Where is A Cubby on Bind?

A small alcove on the back side of A Site where a defender can hold a corner.

Where is A Exit on Bind?

An exit area on the A side where a teleporter drops players off.

24 of them are: they're the names VALORANT itself prints on the Bind minimap. The other 2 are community names that players and pros use but the game doesn't show; they're marked Community.

How do I see callout names in the game?

VALORANT shows the name of the area you're in under the minimap, and a location ping shows the callout name of the spot you pinged, so your team hears and sees the same word.

Are VALORANT callouts translated into other languages?

Partly. In some languages the game translates a few minimap names (Spanish shows "Árbol" for Tree, for example), while names like Main and Lobby stay in English. Most teams use the English names in comms.

How do I learn callouts fast?

Open the map above, switch to the side you're playing, then hit Test yourself. The quiz lights up one spot at a time and asks for its name, so a few rounds of it is enough to know the map before you queue.
